This Bean yoga mat is now Phthalate free. Yep, it’s still a Bean Monster Mat, but it’s now made with what they call Clean PVC or Polymer Environmental Resin (PER). It’s more sensitive to you and the environment than standard PVC foam.

prAna created the Revolution natural sticky mat in collaboration with John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga. It is constructed with dual cotton scrim, which creates a strong, stable practice surface that won’t bunch. At 30″ wide and 78″ long, this prAna yoga mat is much larger than standard yoga mats. It is also sturdy and eco-friendly, made with three biodegradable rubber layers are heat laminated without glue.

YPrana is a 5,000 year old Sanskrit word that means breath, life, and vitality of spirit. In Yoga, the three main channels of prana are the Pingala, the Ida and Sushumna. Pingala relates to the right side of the body, terminating at the right nostril and ida relates to the left side of the body, terminating at the left nostril. In some practices, alternate nostril breathing balances the prana that flows within the body. When prana enters a period of uplifted, intensified activity, it is called Pranotthana.
